Our next destination was to the sunshine coast stopping at Byron Bay for not telling us the bus palizón coup. All of the following and we write from Madrid and we could not access computer as the first day. So we summarize half the trip.
Byron bay is a typical site which they say must go because it is a meeting place for surfers. It is a place in the 60 'was populated by hippies and you can see a bit that image, surfers vans of that era. Good waves and beautiful landscapes to visit. I personally think there are other places in Australia much more beautiful and good waves. Byron to my mind is now a meeting place for the evening party, drunk young people, there is no cm2 without tents. I do not know ... I think it is too oriented to trade and instead wants to give that image of relaxation and alternative lifestyle. We stayed 2 nights and could not sleep the first night party precisely so if you go on holiday to surf well but screwed the next day. north of Brisbane we stayed in the apartments kalua to 50 m from the beach and it cost us 40 euros a night. They were great had everything even dryer. We spent 7 days
cool, 25 degrees hot water, good waves. We were taking buses that run very well took the 600 to go to the beaches of Alexandra Headland and moololaba to 10 minutes. Finally we realized that we came out cheaper to get a daily ticket costing $ 4.80 (does not reach 3 million) and we could catch the bus times to give us the wins. Besides the bus going to the Sunshine Plaza shopping center large cinemas, shops, restaurants etc. .. and all but this had a river inside with lights at night and was very nice. from the mall we saw that there bus to Noosa Heads, the 620 and went out for about 6 euros (6 zones).
We left some pictures of the waves of those days .. there all day small, large .. but the important thing is that there were waves every day.
On Sunday September 7 we went to Noosa Heads in the morning. Noosa National Park is around. It's lovely you can take a 4 hour walk in the park watching the coast and small beaches inside. A well known beach for longboarding is tea tree bay.
waves in general are very good at Noosa longboard because they are very protected beaches swell. we stayed very close to the main beach and the park in the YHA Halselodge. Very nice accommodation with restaurant service for very cheap prices (menu 6 euros)
we cook almost always, and we ate outside the Japanese were going very cheap in Australia.
in tea bay tree did a lot of pictures thinking about longboard and friends who are always talking about Noosa .. so these pictures are going for them.
we are left with the granite's bay beach with fewer people and more swell by orientation. The waves are very long also what happens that is a half hour walk from the bus stop of the national park and you can not even go by bike. So people stay in tea tree.

We drew attention in Noosa surf mode with the paddle paddle surfing. There were many people who did this.
We had the plane on Friday 12 at 8 am from Brisbane on Thursday so we had to go and sleep in a hotel near the airport. As always the holidays are over and that we are already thinking about next year's trip. I took a picture at the airport to a dummy Lifeguard I had a bowl of coins as a contribution to their work. We decided to take the coins that we had .. I made it to help them we need them.
with Korean Air from Brisbane had no direct flight to Madrid and we had to spend the night in Seoul. Mention the attention of the company that we paid the night in a 5 star hotel 2 minutes from the airport, gave us dinner, breakfast and lunch. The buffet was great quality and variety.
the only downside to this company is that no individual had the little screen on the plane and they fed us too much rice. But otherwise very good.
