Honda Pilot 2008 Front Plate Mount

The Great Cathy Short

some time ago, and for the first time I used this communication space to do something that had not made before (well, more or less that it means "first"): recommend a TV series. On that occasion, it was "Treme" , and if you did not see, I know you're expecting. Well, back to the same, but this time, it is a very different series.
I'm not going to get into the mess of trying to define what is humor, and if humor can make any topic, basically I think that yes, humor can be done with any subject, but not everyone has that ability and not everyone likes it, so go the light of this concept.
And that is what "The Big C", the new HBO series: focus with humor the subject of cancer. The series was created by Darlene Hunt, and stars the wonderful Laura Linney.

The Linney plays Cathy, a teacher of 42 years, who was diagnosed melanoma (and therefore do not reveal anything, occurs after 5 minutes into the show), and from that moment, as would happen to anyone, rethinks his life. And now, enough said. I say no more of the plot, of course.
Three people whose criteria respect a lot, Daina Rodriguez, host of radio program "Butterfly Effect" , Hernán Casciari ; (Need Presentation?) and our friend Ro, of "The eye of the beholder" that while we have abandonadísimos to us and your blog, and watch live TV, recommended the series, as was already started , turned to certain spells surfers, and saw the first three episodes. Wow! Remarkable all the script, action, humor, tenderness ... and yes, of course, melancholy and distress.
Just as I recommended it, I do the same: not to miss The Big C. In this corner of the world is on HBO on Sunday night (morning January 30 the fourth episode will air a total of thirteen), in Uruguay, at 22:30, in Argentina at 21:30. In Spain and worked (and yes, first world, which live!) But is available available to anyone who is reading this.
Finally, we I leave the video presentation, which includes a beautiful song by Leftover Cuties, called "Game Called Life" (The game called life.)
